Meet James R. Wade, CA

Professional Career

James began his career in public practice as a summer student in 1994 with Heywood Holmes & Partners, in the Red Deer office. In the spring of 2003, James joined the Red Deer office, becoming a partner in January 2006.

James' professional career includes experience in all areas of public accounting including

• auditing
• taxation
• accounting
• computer systems & software
• personal income tax

Education

James graduated from University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He articled with Heywood Holmes & Partners in Red Deer from 1996 to 2002, where he earned his Certified General Accountant designation in 2002 and his Chartered Accountanat designation in 2003.

James is currently a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and the Certified General Accountants of Alberta.

Community Involvement

• Formerly, Treasurer & Member of the Board of Rocky Mountain House Chamber of Commerce
• JV basketball coach at West Central High School 2004-2006

James was raised in Central Alberta and he and his wife have two children.

He enjoys travelling and time with his family, and is an avid sports fan whose favourites include golf, squash, basketball and swimming.
